1996 Fender American Standard 50th Anniversary Stratocaster with Rosewood Fretboard - Hot Rod Red
@Herscheid & the Headbangers : 1996 Fender Stratocaster Standard in Hot Rod Red Made in USA proudly arbording the 50th anniversary sticker!
From the 90's, the body is still in mint condition, there are no scratches or dents. The hardware is fully-functional and practically new. Featuring a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body under an appealing Hot Rod Red paint, Maple neck with Micro-tilt, carved into Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile and a 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with it's 9.5" radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for string bending. The frets in excellent condition. 2 point synchronized tremolo bridge, Fender standard sealed tuning machines. 90's bridge & tremolo quipped with brushed nickel saddles. SSS staggered pickup configuration. TBX Tone control circuit on the 2nd pickup position (Treble Bass Expander) when you rotate clockwise, the absence of lows makes glassy highs erupt!
The headstock is in good condition, but we need to mention that the finish on it is not an original fender finish. It is thicker than the finish on the neck of the guitar and has a shinier glow under light. There are no signs of a repair being done in that area whatsoever. There are small imperfections in the headstock finish near the tuners documented in the last 2 pictures and where you can see it's a bit thicker. It remains a highly attractive and reputable guitar!
It comes and will be shipped with the hard case seen in the pictures.
We are not too far if you have any questions!
