At Herscheid & the Headbangers: Boss CE-1 with guitar impedance mod + Chorus Depth mod in very good condition!

The mods have been done in parallel of the original CE-1 circuitry. When the red LED is on, you are running your signal through the original circuit. When the LED is blue you run the signal through the guitar impedance mod for a clearer, less dark guitar sound. The input and outputs on the side makes the CE-1 a bit more pedalboard friendly. The original input at the back is linked to the original volume knob and the input on the side, more guitar friendly, is linked to the 2nd 500K A volume knob. Both of the extra outputs on the side will carry the FX signal. The original outputs have been left unchanged.

The pedal have been fully serviced. Every single capacitor have been replaced with high quality Nichicon. (Same Japanese brand as the originals) so you'll be good for another few decades of playing!

** I didn't want to take current away from the circuit for the LED switch so there's a small 120V AC to 9V DC installed inside the chassis. It was unnecessary to add another power switch just for that so the LEDs will always be on when the pedal is plugged in the wall outlet. No big deal especially because the LEDs are running at a fraction of their maximum capacity so they'll last a very very long time.

The new pots have the same diameter as the original so if you are lucky enough to find exact Boss CE-1 replacement knobs you'll be able to put them on it.

** Last note: The effect on/off and vibrato/chorus switches are in perfect working order, but there's a small pop that happens when you switch from red to blue on the "channel" switch I have installed. I can't say if it's from voltage switching path or the switch itself. It's probably better to select a channel and stick with it while performing or recording. It's fine to switch while playing if you want to experiment with the differences between the original and modded circuit but otherwise I'd stay on the same channel.

I think that covers it all, let me know if I forgot something or if you have any questions!
