Boss CS-1 Compression Sustainer – Made in Japan – With Original Box – Excellent Condition

Early Boss compressor from the late-70s lineup, built in Japan and complete with its original box. A proper vintage unit in excellent shape, very clean cosmetically and fully functional.

The CS-1 has a distinct character compared to later compressors: fast attack, bright snap and a tight low end that adds definition and articulation to clean tones. Great for funk rhythm, country picking and anything where you want notes to pop forward in the mix rather than just extend forever.
