Original 2005 Krankenstein, signature amp head designed in collaboration with Dimebag Darrell. Built in the USA, this all-tube monster delivers crushing gain, razor-sharp attack and searing high end perfect for down-tuned metal and high-gain riffs

It has been fully serviced. I replaced the power transformer on it since the original Mercury PT was arcing. It's now equipped with a brand new Hammond power transformer made specially for this amp. Exactly the same specs as the original. (Mercury doesn't produce it anymore)

To reduce the chances of breaking the amp by turning it on while on the selector is set at 230V, the 2nd winding on the primary is secured inside the chassis. If you plan to use this amp in Europe you only need to have your tech to connect this wire to the power supply instead of the 120V wire.

All tubes are brand new JJ and while I was there I have recapped entirely the amp with high quality, low ERS Nichicon capacitors. Freshly biased as well so it's really a plug and play purchase.
