- Action is perfect and smooth to play.
- The guitar is absolutely gorgeous!
- Neck was oiled and the guitar was equipped with new Martin strings.
- An incredible find, those guitar are gems for a fraction of the costs of an original.
In all transparency this is what you should know; most of it can be found in the pictures:
- Fret wear visible on higher frets. Not a big job to fix and there's plenty of fret left.
- Wood is a bit worn in the top few frets from playing the instrument.
- The tuners are not original but are working very well!
- One small dent on the neck near the 1st fret.
- Very thin cosmetic finish crack on the neck near the joint with the body
- There are visible cosmetic ''stress cracks" on the top. None of them goes through the wood.
- One small hole on the side on the lower part of the body. It doesn't reach all the way inside the guitar and doesn't affect the sound.
With that being said, this guitar remains a very beautiful and fun to play vintage Japanese guitar!
