Yamaha MQ1602 with Direct out Mod by Headbangers

At Herscheid & the Headbangers: Yamaha MQ 1602 in excellent condition with direct outs!

We added the direct out to each individual channel with great care, post EQ and post fader to get even more flexibility out of this already great tool. While we were there we made sure that every pot, slider, selector, input and output worked perfectly. The added functionalities have been marked with an erasable marker, should you decide that you don't want to see them. This is just an amazing mixer with the Tamura tranformers, cut-boost 4 band EQ, Echo (Any effects you'd like) send in 4dB / -20dB and fold back channel. They can be used in so many ways, plus with the added 4 Echo Outputs you'll be able to add as much external effects as you wish. We could go on for a while, but the Operating manual for the MQ series is very well made with a lot of explanation and examples :

The mixer has been well taken care of during it's life. We did some normal maintenance while installing the direct outs like changing filter capacitors in the DH C. board in respect to the vintage aspect of the mixer.

It is also very quiet for an older unit. No noticeable hiss in the mixer with the channels adjusted in the optimal configuration which makes it a great choice for a professional environment! The headphones jack have been replaced, other than that it's pretty much in excellent and original condition.

It can be delivered/picked up with or without the road case. We highly recommend to keep the mixer in the case for transport for obvious reasons but we know that it adds significant weight for shipping. The total weight for the case + mixer is 37KG (82lbs). The mixer alone is about 35lbs. Due to the nature of the item, we are open to discuss and find the best transportation option, including personal delivery depending what's best for you. No matter the option the mixer will be insured for the full amount.
