Fender California Stratocaster with Maple Fretboard 1997 - Vintage White

At Herscheid & the Headbangers: California Series Stratocaster from 1997 in Very Good condition.

Easily identified by the "AMXN" serial numbers, Fender's California Series was a joint effort between Fender's California and Ensenada, Mexico factories, with body carving and final assembly happening in America and painting done south of the border.

Vintage 50's tuners, tremolo bridge (whammy bar not in pictures but will be included). The pickups looks like fat 50's as well and are amazing for any musical styles that benefit from clarity and sparkle.

Although it has a relic look the neck has an incredible feel to it. Very nice and comfortable to play this modern C shape with medium jumbo frets. We have just crowned and polished them but they have a lot of life left in them. Very nice looking Strat with a slight relic look.

The Alder body is in very good shape, we assume that the two wood spots were sanded for the look but there's no other dings or unappealing scratches on it. The look remains very appealing with the wear more on the neck. We tried detailing the condition of the neck as much as we could in the pictures.

Great looking guitar that plays even better than it looks.
