Fender Stratocaster STM-55 - Made in Japan E serial

Part of the famous Fender E Series of the late 80's, these were designed to be a faster playing alternative to the standard Fender Stratocaster. The STM-55 features a modern thin neck profile, medium scale (628mm) with 22 frets and a contoured neck heel (apparently the first Fender model to feature this!). Poplar body and a maple neck, these are a great players model for someone after something smoother and faster playing than your grandpas Stratocaster!
