Hungry Robot The Dark Moby - Limited Edition Delay Pedal only 30 made

At Herscheid & the Headbangers: Hungry Robot's Very limited Dark Moby Delay in excellent condition!

The Dark Moby is a boutique Bucket-Brigade Device emulating delay & modulation pedal based on the legendary PT2399 digital chip, renowned for its ability to sound analogue.

It's a darker, more textured version of the Hungry Robot Moby Dick V.2, tweaked personally by Hungry Robot founder Eric Junge's to his personal tastes. It's very musical and extremely intuitive.

Description from Eric Junge:

"It is a heavily modified version of The Moby Dick. While the standard Moby Dick focuses on emulating tape delays, The Dark Moby tries to emulate the heavy filtering used in analog BBD designs.  
The Dark Moby started a couple years ago as an experiment. As many of you know, I am a lover of the PT2399 delay chip due to its versatility and amazing texture.  I have been able to tame and master it through the years. About two years ago, I had an off day and decided that I wanted to create a delay voicing that was my own personal, ideal delay tone. I spent the entire day tweaking and modifying an original Moby Dick unit I had laying around. The result is a smeary, warm, dark, & organic delay line with thick modulation.

That modified BBD-style Moby Dick hung around my shop for about two years. The Moby Dick already had its signature sounds, so I didn't want to mess around with changing it; the two circuits were so drastically different that it wasn't feasible to add a toggle switch or two to switch back and forth.

I have retrofitted the V2 Moby to match that poor circuit sitting on a shelf and now its being made available in a small batch during the Black Friday weekend with a 2nd run in June 2019. Only 30 units available."
