The original 2623 transformers were used on preamp outputs, direct outputs, ACA summing amplifiers, echo send modules, cue modules, and countless vintage API designs. Having twelve of them installed on this PM-700 transforms it into a serious recording console capable of feeding tape machines, interfaces, and hybrid summing systems with genuine transformer-balanced outputs and unmistakable vintage character.
